Our Dance Teachers

Our instructors have danced professionally and taught dance classes around the world. Each one has extensive teaching experience including: University level programs; High school & middle school classes & productions; & Preschool dance classes. They also have choreographed professional shows; founded non-profit dance collectives and participated in dance competitions.

Creacy Boggess

Creacy Boggess has been dancing since a young age by participating in school dance programs, church praise dances, drill teams, and cheerleading. In addition to taking dance classes and performing around Anchorage, she became involved in West High's dance program, where she began to grow more as a dancer and a teacher.


Creacy has training in Hip Hop, Modern & Jazz dance. She especially loves to teach these genres to younger students. She has had the pleasure of learning from and dancing with Lori Bradford, Leslie Kimiko Ward, Corinthia McCoy, and Brian Jeffery. As well as, sara von gillern of So You Think You Can Dance (S3), Dominic Sandoval & Hokuto "Hok" Konishi (SYTYCD S3 & America's Best Dance Crew: Quest Crew S3 winners), and Ryan Feng (ABDC: Quest Crew).


Creacy is currently enrolled at UAA where she is working toward a BA in Marketing & and a Minor in Dance, has choreographed pieces for UAA’s “New Dances” annual show. Creacy is a certified ZUMBA® instructor & teaches Zumba for Kids, Family Zumba & Adult Zumba Party here at Anchorage Music & Dance Center, as well as Jazz, Hip Hop, Hip Hop/Modern & Musical Theatre for ages 3-13..

Carly Linna Campbell

Carly loves to dance and has been dancing since she was 4 yrs old. Carly’s dance education includes Ballet, Jazz, Modern & Tap. She was a member of UDC’s Exclusive Traveling Team, competing in Hip Hop competitions, and danced with Dance Spectrum Alaska & Dance Machine here in Anchorage for over 10 years. She has taught young dancers in the Mini Music Machine program, Angelina Ballerina program & choreographed numbers for Dance Machine.


Carly is currently attending UAA and continues to pursue dance, along with a full class load. Carly recently returned from a Semester at Sea, where she completed a college semester while travelling to different countries around the world. She teaches Dancing Together for 2-3 yr olds at our studio, as well as Angelina Ballerina Ballet & Hip Hop, as her schedule permits.

Emily Gomulak

Emily started dancing at age 5, and hasn't stopped moving since. She is originally from the Kenai Peninsula, where she danced with Encore Dance Academy. She also danced for Peninsula Artists in Motion, a modern company in Kenai.


Emily loves to dance and has studied hip hop, modern, jazz and classical ballet. She continues her dance education at UAA & danced in “New Dances 2013”, produced by the UAA Dance Program. Emily teaches Angelina Ballerina Ballet classes here, and has trained with the creator of the Angelina Ballerina Program, Beverly Spell. She is very excited to inspire a new group of ballerinas, as she also teaches Beginning Ballet, Ballet/Modern, Modern/Lyrical & Ballet Basics for Teens for students 6-16yrs and our Ballet Core Workout class for Adults!

Annie Margeson

Annie has been dancing since she was four years old. She has studied acrobatics, tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, modern, can-can & Irish dance. Being the third woman from Alaska to ever qualify for the World Irish dance championships was her dream come true! She also received top solo awards from Spotlight Dance Competition and 5-6-7-8 Showtime Dance Competition where she was invited to compete and participate in Dance World Cup, the Paris Summer Dance Tour and audition for Cirque du Soleil.


Annie is close to completing her Major in Elementary Education and Minor in Dance at UAA here in Anchorage. She loves to dance and has taught at dance studios in Anchorage including Irish Dance Academy of Alaska. She also participated in both Music & Dance Machine & choreographed for Dance Machine, directed by Janet Carr-Campbell. Annie teaches Mini Jazz/Hip Hop, as well as Preschool Music FunTime Classes here at Anchorage Music & Dance Center.

Andrea Steele

Andrea’s dance career began when she was living is South Carolina in the 1996. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical & Hip Hop. Andrea loves to perform and has danced with Alaska Dance Theatre & Dance West, West High’s Contempo Company. Andrea has also participated in the Sunshine Generation Singing & Dance Group and has experience with Pom routines and gymnastics.


Andrea graduated from West High in 2011 and then began attending UAA in pursuit of an Associate’s Degree in Dance. She has danced in “New Dances”, an annual show produced by UAA Dance Program. Andrea enjoys sharing her dance experience with young students and teaches Angelina Ballerina Ballet, Beginning Ballet, Ballet Level 1, Ballet/Tap & Ballet Core Workout here at Anchorage Music & Dance Center.
